RCB follows closely in second place with 17 points, while Punjab Kings also holds 17 points, setting the stage for a fierce competition for the top two positions.

All three teams have demonstrated impressive performances this season, each playing 12 matches and losing only 3. RCB and Punjab Kings each had one match affected by rain. The battle now lies in finishing in the top two of the league stage, which would grant them two opportunities to reach the finals. The top two teams will face off in the first qualifier, with the losing team receiving another chance.
Final Spot in Playoffs Up for Grabs
Currently, only one team is needed to complete the playoff lineup, but the competition is tight among three teams. Besides Delhi, the Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Super Giants are also in contention. However, only one of these teams will secure a playoff spot. Mumbai currently sits fourth with 14 points from 12 matches, while Delhi is fifth with 13 points, and Lucknow is in seventh place.
